In 1991, the original twelve song Howard Shore score for the film THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS was released around the world on CD and cassette.  An expanded, two-LP, limited edition reissue occurred in 2019. There has been no soundtrack ever released for the film. This special edition contains ten songs as heard in the film plus several remixes as well as the expanded, twenty-five track score.
