Each Smokey and the Bandit film had its own soundtrack issue on LP and cassette with various releases in the US, Canada and Europe. In 2017, the original soundtrack had a limited edition 40th Anniverary re-release on CD which featured all songs from Parts 1 and 2. The original soundtrack for Part Three originally had a very limited release on vinyl and cassette as a 6 track mini LP. This special edition includes two additional songs as heard in the Part 3 film plus a 7” single version. There has been no collection of all three soundtracks previously issued and all versions on CD remain out-of-print.
