A soundtrack for the John Candy / John Hughes / Chris Columbus / Ally Sheedy film ONLY THE LONELY was released in the US on CD and cassette and in Germany on LP.  The soundtrack consisted of five tracks composed by Maurice Jarre along with two songs from Roy Orbison and Van Morrison. This special edition contains eight bonus tracks as heard in the film. The soundtrack remains out-of-print in any format.
