This is a special edition soundtrack to the 1985 girls buddy film, 'Girls Just Want To Have Fun'. The original soundtrack was released on LP and CD (in Germany) for a short time before going out of print. That original version contained 9 songs as heard in the film. This special edition contains 3 more bonus tracks plus an additional 5 dance remixes.
Oddly enough, Cyndi Lauper's hit songs of the same name was not included on the original soundtrack but is found here along with a dance remix.All songs sound fantastic.
