The original nine-song FOOTLOOSE soundtrack was released in January of 1984 and reached number one on the US Billboard 200 album charts in April where it stayed for the next two months. It contained six Billboard Hot 100 Top 40 hits, three of which reached the Top 10, including two number-one hits, "Footloose" by Kenny Loggins and "Let's Hear It for the Boy" by Deniece Williams. "Almost Paradise", a duet by Ann Wilson and Mike Reno plus "Somebody's Eyes" by Karla Bonoff both charted. This special edition includes three bonus tracks missing from the original soundtrack plus five instrumental versions, two 7” single versions and more! Disc Two contains eleven DJ and 12” club remixes of hits from the film.
