The 1976 film CAR WASH had a 2 LP and cassette soundtrack issued around the world. The album had three Rose Royce singles released, the worlwide hit “Car Wash” and two more which charted in the U.S., “I Wanna Get Next To You” and “I’m Going Down”. The Pointer Sisters also added another hit to their collection with “You Gotta Believe”. The album won a Grammy that year for Best Soundtrack. This special edition includes the soundtrack and a second disc of dance mixes, 7” mixes and karaoke tracks.
