A soundtrack for the film “CAN’T STOP THE MUSIC” was released originally on 8-Track, cassette and LP around the world as The Village People’s sixth album. Although the film was a flop, the soundtrack charted at #1 in Australia and #47 in the US. In the mid-1990’s until the early to mid-2000’s, a 10 track CD was released in Japan and the US. All versions of the soundtrack are out-of-print. This special two-disc edition contains two bonus songs as heard in the film plus a bonus disc of eight dance remixes.
