A soundtrack for the film Beverly Hills Cop was released worldwide in the summer of 1984 and was a huge success thanks to five hit singles. The instrumental theme ‘AXEL F’ by Harold faltermeyer, Patti Labelle’s two smash hits - ‘New Attitude’ and ‘Stir It Up’, GLENN FREY of THE EAGLES with one of his biggest hits , ‘THE HEAT IS ON’ and finally, THE POINTER SISTERS with their dance floor smash, ‘NEUTRON DANCE’.  This special edition contains one bonus track and six dance remixes on disc one and a second disc featuring ten dance remixes of songs from the film.
